The Biletnikoff Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting youth, primarily from low to moderate
income neighborhoods or backgrounds, who are “at risk” particularly to the realities of drug and alcohol addiction as
well as domestic and gender violence.
Our next important task will be the establishment of a Tracey’s Place of Hope in Placer County.
We believe one of our most successful accomplishments was to establish Tracey’s Place of Hope in conjunction with
the Families First Tracey’s Place of Hope is a six-bedroom house for adolescent girls ages 14 -17 ½ that opened in
January of 2009. There is 24-hour supervision with scheduled activities and group sessions on site and at the
counseling center. Girls attend school as well as receiving onsite tutoring. The program is targeted to girls who are low-
income, homeless or at risk of homelessness, with a history of substance-abuse related problems as well as other
mental health issues.
The mission of our foundation is to commemorate Tracey Biletnikoff who was brutally murdered in 1999 at a very young
age. Tracey, after recovering from drug and alcohol abuse through programs like those supported by the Biletnikoff
Foundation, dedicated her life to helping “at risk” youth avoid or recover from similar experiences.
The foundation has focused the majority (approximately 80%) of resources, volunteers, etc. on supporting programs
targeting “at risk” youths predominately from low- to moderate-income neighborhoods. However, we believe that
youths of all ages and backgrounds are susceptible to various addictions and violence. Therefore, our goal is to reach
out to as many youths as possible so that we may help them avoid or recover from violence, drugs and alcohol, which
are crippling the youth of this country. For tournament information call (925) 556-2525.
